9 Tips to Drive Tons of Traffic to Your HubPages

By Cemil Ozcelik

Using HubPages as part of your online promotion plan can bring you lots of exposure and loads of quality traffic. There is an art to creating highly trafficked HubPages. Here are nine tips to help you create extremely popular hub pages that will receive a ton of traffic.
  • Optimize your HubPage - Whatever keyword combination you might be targeting, be sure to use them in the title of your article, sub-headings and throughout the body of the article.
  • Group all your articles - Organizing your articles into groups can help drive more traffic to all your HubPages. An arrow at the bottom of your hub page will direct visitors to your next article
  • Incorporate Hub Page Feeds - You can set up a hub page feed to include around eight articles. Including a hub page feed in your article will encourage your readers to check out more of your articles. When you finish, submit and ping your HubPages RSS Feed. Search for active RSS Directories to help you promote your rss feeds. This should bring you a steady flow of traffic in time
  • Incorporate Hub page feeds in your blog - You can drive more traffic to your HubPage through a blog if you have one. Visitors to your blog will be able to view your hub page articles and click through to it.
  • Bookmark it - Bookmark it using the 'share it' button or by manually submitting it to other social bookmarking sites like Stumbleupon, Digg, Furl, Delicious etc. Alternatively you can use a free service like Onlywire to submit your hub page to multiple social sites. This helps others find your hub pages outside of the hubber community and ensures a steady stream of visitors.
  • Spread the word - Submit your hub page to all the major search engines and also add links to it from your profile pages on Myspace, Facebook etc. Email your friends after adding HubPage links to your profile.
  • Link it - Link to your HubPage from other articles, websites or blogs. Link internally to other HubPages from within your article body
  • Update it - Update your HubPage frequently. Aim for updating it about once a week. This helps improve your page ranking in search engine results, keeps your content fresh and draw in more traffic. You can do this very easily in just a few minutes by editing a couple of lines, adding more visuals or incorporating more videos and even putting in a few more links.
  • Mimic successful hubbers - Learn from successful hubbers. Browse through hubs that have a score of 90 and above and find out what they are doing right.
These are not the only tips that you can use, there are literally hundreds of things you can do to drive traffic to your HubPage, however this list will get you the most amount of traffic in the shortest period of time.
